Quality of life indicators are simply the answers to the question, “What matters most to the people who live in the Truckee Meadows?” They were first selected in 1993 with extensive input from citizens throughout our community, with community updates in 2000 and most recently 2006. The indicators serve as reminders and rallying points around which community-minded individuals and groups can focus their efforts to make a measurable difference.
What constitutes good community indicators?
